6 Using PRM with HP Systems

Insight Manager (SIM)

This chapter discusses how you can use PRM with HP Systems Insight

Manager (SIM), which provides a single point of administration for

multiple HP-UX systems. The PRM integration with HP SIM allows

system administrators at a SIM Central Management Server (CMS) to

perform the following PRM tasks on the nodes in the SIM cluster that

have PRM installed:

• Monitor PRM Groups

• Conﬁgure PRM Groups

• Display Resource Usage

• List Resource Availability
