How is the matrix organized
The HP SMH Dependency Matrix document presents dependency matrices for the following:
HP SMH Framework
SysMgmtBase
HP SMH plug-ins available on HP-UX
HP-UX WBEM Providers
The dependency matrix for each product covers the following information:
Product Name. This is the name of the HP SMH software. The product name is the section title
in this document.
Bundle Tag. This is the bundle name that you see when you download the software depot, or
when you run the swlist command on an HP-UX system that has the product installed.
Product Tag. This is the product name that you see when you download the software depot,
or when you run the swlist command on an HP-UX system that has the product installed.
Subsystem. This is applicable only to the providers. This refers to the subsystem from which
the provider retrieves information, which is used by HP Software Management clients, HP
System Insight Manager (SIM), and HP System Management HomePage (SMH).
Product Version. This is the version of the HP SMH software.
HP-UX Release. This is the version of the HP-UX operating system, the HP-UX OEUR (Operating
Environment Update Release), the hardware enablement release (HWE), or the web release.
Explicit Dependency. This refers to the dependency at product install time. In the Explicit
Dependency column, the descriptor r>= must be read as 'revision greater than or equal to'.
Implicit Dependency. This refers to the dependency at product run time.
