Tracing EVWEB

Chapter 4106

The HP SMH home page is displayed.

Step 4. Do one of the following:

• Select Tools -> Subscription Administration.

• Select Logs -> Event Viewer.

Step 5. Select Disable Tracing available at the top right corner of the page.

The tracing is disabled and a confirmation message is displayed.

NOTE The Disable Tracing option and the Modify Tracing optionis not

displayed if tracing is not enabled.

Step 6. Click OK on the confirmation message window.

For more information on disabling tracing using the HP SMH GUI, select

Help on the action pane of either the Event Viewer or the Event

Subscription Administration page.

Disabling Tracing Using EVWEB CLI

To disable tracing using EVWEB CLI, you must reset the trace value

that you have set. At the HP-UX prompt, enter the following command:

# unset EVWEB_TRACE_LEVEL

Tracing is now disabled.

NOTE Tracing is automatically disabled at the end of an EVWEB session.
