You need to refer the following sections for more information regarding support and policies for
the products.
Support policies
Following are the user specific reference notes for currently supported and older versions of
SysFaultMgmt (System Fault Management) (SFM).
• SysFaultMgmt (System Fault Management) (SFM) product is adhering to HP-UX support
policy.
• During HP-UX support period, irrespective of the mode of delivery [Operating Environment
(OE) or Application Release (AR) media or WBEMMgmtBundle], each version of the product
is supported as per the following list.
◦ HP-UX 11i v3: Three years, from the date of its release.
◦ HP-UX 11i v2 and HP-UX 11i v1: Only the latest release.
• The latest versions of HP-UX 11i v2 or HP-UX 11i v1 are going to be exceptionally supported,
by the end of support (EoS) date for each of these OS versions.
• For HP-UX 11i v2 or HP-UX 11i v1, the end of support (EoS) date is till December 2015.
• The exact end of support (EoS) date/month indicates as the end of each month.
• OnlineDiag monitoring mode is not supported on newer platforms.
NOTE: The values denoted by xx and yy in the tables throughout this document are for internal
use only.

OnlineDiag
Following are the user specific reference notes for OnlineDiag product.
• OnlineDiag product has two version support policy.
• Even if currently installed SysFaultMgmt (System Fault Management) (SFM) version is
supported, corresponding currently installed OnlineDiag version may or may not be
supported.
• The latest OnlineDiag version recommends to be installed to avoid the frequent update.
NOTE: If you have the latest HP-UX 11i v3 Operating Environment (OE) media/ISO file or
WBEMMgmtBundle version, you can update only OnlineDiag version from the specified depot
location:
# swinstall -x autoselect_dependencies=false -x
enforce_dependencies=false -s <DVD mount point | WBEMMgmtBundle depot
