• HP-UX need not be rebooted upon upgrade/install of this version.

• The -T option to create and manage throttling configuration is no longer supported and the

feature is not available in the HP-UX 11i v3 systems.

Table 1 lists the SFM providers, and their respective functions (continued) Providers Functions Firmware Revision Instance Provider Retrieves information about the firmware revision of system hardware components, such as system firmware version and Management Processor (MP) firmware version. MP Instance Provider Retrieves information about the management processor of the system.

Support for vPar6.0, a virtualization technology for installed base virtual partitions • All the errors logged at Virtual Partitions will be transferred to Virtual Services Platform and corresponding event will get generated from Virtual Services Platform upon error analysis. The error logs from virtual partition and virtual services platform is treated at par and events are generated based on common analysis of the same.

Resolution: This problem is fixed. • QXCR1001138530 Threads blocked on locked pthread mutex. Problem: One or more threads waiting for a lock which is not released by a thread on abnormal exit. Resolution: This problem is fixed. • QXCR1001011151 No MCA files are generated upon MCA Problem: On a vPar machine, when MCA happens there is no MCA record logged in /var/ tombstones directory. The oserlogd daemon did not log any MCA logs in to this directory.

Workaround: Please check the Health Repository on the OA for the latest information on the health of all the FRU's or alternatively, the OA homepage. • Problem: Two SFM processes are running when SFM is upgraded . This limitation is not applicable to the following: ◦ Systems that have SFM C.07.00.04.06 (March 2010) or later OE release fresh installed. ◦ Systems that have upgraded to SFM C.07.00.07.01 (May 2010) or later. Description: When SFM is upgraded from any version prior to C.07.00.04.

• Problem: SFM fails in heavy load condition. Description: In extreme stressed system, in virtual partition (vPar 6.0), SFM crashes at startup due to initialization failure. Workaround: There is no workaround for this problem.
