Beginning with vPars A.04.05, you can can have a mixed HP-UX 11i v1/v2 vPars environment.
A mixed HP-UX 11i v1/v2 vPars environment enables you to have a vPars A.04.05 Monitor
and database that supports both virtual partitions running vPars A.04.05 on HP-UX 11i v2
(11.23) and virtual partitions running vPars A.03.05 on HP-UX 11i v1 (11.11). For detailed
information, see the “Mixed HP-UX 11i v1/v2 vPars Environments in vPars A.04.05” section
in the “Planning chapter of the HP-UX Virtual Partitions Administrator Guide.
Full integration with HP Instant Capacity (iCAP) and iCAP enforcement.
iCAP version 8.03 supports HP-UX 11i v1 vPars (support for vPars A.03.05 has been added).
vPars A.03.05 supports HP Global Workload Manager (gWLM) with the restrictions listed in
the HP-UX Virtual Partitions Release Notes A.03.05.

vPars A.03.03 adds support for:
Flexible Administrative Capability (formerly called Primary-Admin vPars Security)
This allows administrators to designate which virtual partitions allow superusers to run virtual
partition commands that affect other virtual partitions. It has been renamed from a security
feature to this as it is not intended to replace current HP-UX security applications. For more
information, see the “Flexible Administrative Capability” chapter in HP-UX Virtual Partitions
Administrator Guide.
