Fixes
The primary objective of this release is to support the latest HP hardware platforms, support the
latest revisions of already supported operating systems and hypervisors, and to fix software issues.
This release offers improvements in the following areas:
• VC Manager connection status is now included in the VCEM profile.
• VC Manager profile status is now displayed in the VCEM GUI.
• VCEM domain groups running FW version 3.18 (or earlier) with VLAN tunneling enabled will
not experience network connectivity loss when you upgrade domains to FW version 3.30 (or
later) using the "Complete Maintenance" function. The issue described in Customer Advisory
document ID c03264140 available at http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/
Document.jsp?objectID=c03264140 has been fixed.
Prerequisites
• VCEM 7.1 can be used for an initial VCEM installation, or it can be used to update existing
installations of VCEM 6.0 or later, if they are installed on a 64 bit Windows system. For more

VC firmware compatibility mode limitations when adding a domain, or updating
