Enhancements
VCSU 1.9.1 includes the following enhancement:
• Open Source Library update
o The OpenSSL library is updated from version 1.0.1c to version 1.0.1g.
VCSU 1.9.0 includes the following enhancements:
• VC management support for IPv6
IMPORTANT:
Use of IPv6 requires, at a minimum, the SPP 2013.09.0 (B) release. The minimum
OA firmware version required is 4.01, and the minimum iLO 4 firmware version required is 1.30.

• Improved security by disabling ftp services as the default on VC Ethernet modules running FW 4.10 or
above, and to enable it only when it is necessary.
• To update the firmware for the VC-FC modules running firmware (version 2.00 or higher for
8Gb/20-port modules or version 1.10 or higher for 8Gb/20-port modules) from the VC 4.10 package
or higher versions, the firmware image is now copied directly onto VC-FC modules. It is no longer
accomplished by staging through the Primary/Standby VC-Enet module.
• Will display the stacking link status (Connection Status and Redundancy Status) as part of the VCSU
healthcheck command.
• Firmware update checks VC Domain Stacking Link Connection Status and does not proceed without the
-f health option if the Status is Failed.
• VCSU 1.9.0 Open Source Library updates:
o Update Openssl library to version 1.0.1c
o Update libssh2 library to version 1.4.2.
o Update libxml2 library to version 2.9.0
