HP Web Quality of Service (WebQoS) is a web-based solution that provides the quality of
service needed to maintain your web applications. Using HP WebQoS, you can configure,
administer, operate, and monitor your system and control the sessions admitted to your web
server so that it does not become overloaded.
What’s in This Version?
WebQoS 3.0 is available for the Solaris
1
operating environment.
The following enhancements have been made in this WebQoS 3.0 release:
Template-Based Configuration - Configure a service or site template with policies and
rules. Then, assign the template to any configured services or sites in your WebQoS
domain.
System and Site Auto-Discovery - Systems and sites are automatically detected by
WebQoS and placed in your WebQoS domain.
Service SLOs (Service LevelObjectives) - Two new service SLOs have been added: Ensure
less than NUMBER millisecond response time for CLASS requests to URL
GROUP and Ensure MEASUREMENT is CONDITION NUMBER. Refer to the online help and
the online manual for more information.
SSL and non-SSL Requests - If you do not configure any request classification rules, all
SSL and non-SSL requests are assigned the default (lowest) level of service.
1. The Solaris operating environment is a product of Sun Microsystems, Inc.
