Hue–the property of color that is determined by the wavelengths of light coming from an object. It is
the property we refer to when we call a color by its name.
Below is a graphic of the post-RIP color manipulation interface. Click the radio button for the feature you’d like
to edit, and move the joystick until the image looks like what you are looking for. To undo a change, click
the button labeled “Center” to return the current value to zero.
Picture Placement
Click on the tab labeled “Picture Placement to edit the placement of the image on the page. Type in
numeric values or use the pointer to grab and drag the image to scale or reposition the image. The
image can be flipped horizontally, vertically, or both by clicking the check boxes shown. To ensure that
the image retains its original proportions, leave the “Retain Aspect Ratio” box checked. The
measurements are shown in printer pixels; see page two of this document for converting pixels to
inches. Below is a graphic of the user interface of the cropping feature.
