2-6 Creating Profiles
The Choose Saturation Level dialog box appears.
9. From the Choose Saturation Level dialog box, enter a new
Maximum Ink Level, or click Next to accept the default
shown.
The software searches for an external device or printers on-
board device.
Linearize 10. Choose whether to use the external device, onboard
device (camera), or file for linearization.
If you choose the external device, both the external and
onboard device will be used, so that either device can be
used later to Calibrate the profile (unless Skip Camera is
selected, below).
If you choose Camera, only the onboard device will be
used. (This is an option only if the software does not
detect an external device.) Backlit media must be read
with the DTP41-T device; the onboard device cannot be
used.
If you choose file, you can read in linearization data from
a file, even from a device not otherwise supported by
ColorMark+.
