2. Do one of the following:
If you cannot find an entry corresponding to the new node, check the network
connections. Make repairs and rerun the discover command.
If you find an entry corresponding to the new node, note the IP address on the line that
begins with the string fixed-address, and proceed to step 3.
3. Open a web browser on the head node.
4. In the web address field at the top of the window, enter the IP address you noted in step 2
appended with /ie_index.htm:
https://172.20.0.n/ie_index.htm
5. If you are prompted, accept the security certificates.
6. Enter administrator as the login name, and enter the password that is shown on the
information tag that is attached to the iLO. If you already set up a common user name and
password as part of the hardware preparation tasks, use those values instead.
7. Click the Administration tab along the top of the window.
8. In the left frame, select Settings Access.
9. Click the Services tab.
10. Set Telnet Access to Enabled.
11. Click the Apply button.
12. Click the Options tab along the top of the window.
13. Set Serial Command Line Interface Status to Enabled - No Authentication
14. Click the Apply button.
15. Repeat steps 4 through 14 for every console port.
16. Click Log out when you have enabled telnet on all console ports on all nodes.
17. Return to “Discovering Hardware Components” (page 63) and rerun the discover
command. Then, continue with the remainder of the system configuration procedure.
