2. Check whether the mainframe host and P9000 mainframe agent have been registered
correctly.
If they have been registered correctly, use the AddHostRefresh command to acquire the
information again. If they have not been registered correctly, register them correctly by using
the procedures described in Registering the mainframe host in Device Manager on page 430
and Registering the P9000 mainframe agent running on the mainframe host in Device
Manager on page 431.
Command format:
hdvmcli AddHostRefresh "objectid=mainframe-host-object-ID"
Example of executing the command:
hdvmcli AddHostRefresh -o "D:\logs\AddHostRefresh.log" "objectid=*****"
*****: The value is encoded by the CLI.
Example of output from executing the command:

Refreshing information recognized by the mainframe host
Use the AddHostRefresh command to refresh the mainframe volume information and the logical
DKC serial number of the storage system displayed in the GUI. This command is the only means of
refreshing the information.
When you execute the command, specify the following parameter:
objectid: In the parameter, specify the object ID of the mainframe host output when the mainframe
host was registered using the AddHost command.
Action to be taken if an error occurs during the execution of the AddHostRefresh command:
If an error occurs during the execution of the AddHostRefresh command, perform the following
