2. Remove the P9000 Command View AE Suite product services and resource group from the targets
of the cluster management.
For details about the services and resource group that need to be removed from the cluster
management, see the manual for each relevant P9000 Command View AE Suite product.
CAUTION:
Do not remove the following resources from the cluster management
Shared disk
Cluster management IP address
Logical host name
3. Perform a new installation of P9000 Command View AE Suite on the executing node.
For details about the installation procedure, see the HP P9000 Command View Advanced Edition
Suite Software Installation and Configuration Guide.
If any other P9000 Command View AE Suite products are included in the cluster environment,
preparations for installation of the Device Manager server and the Tiered Storage Manager
server are as follows:
Make the shared disk accessible, and then specify a path on the shared disk for the database
storage location.
Specify a logical host name for the management server IP address (host name of the virtual
host allocated to the cluster management IP address).
If no other P9000 Command View AE Suite products are included in the cluster environment,
preparations for installation are as follows:
Specify a path on the local disk for the database storage location.
For the management server IP address, specify the IP address of the executing node.
4. From the GUI, register licenses for the products you want to use.
Access the IP address of the executing node.
A license key must be entered for each product that is installed.
5. Change the URL for starting the GUI to the logical host name.
Execute the following command to make sure that the correct logical host name is set:
installation-folder-of-Common-Component\bin\hcmdschgurl /print
If the logical host name is not set, execute the following command to change the URL:
installation-folder-of-Common-Component\bin\hcmdschgurl /change http://
IP-address-or-host-name-of-the-executing-node
