3. If the P9000 Command View AE Suite product services are running, stop them as follows:
Select Start > All Programs > HP P9000 Command View Advanced Edition Suite > Manage
Services > Stop.
4. In the Services window, open the properties for the following services, and then change Startup
Type from Automatic to Manual:
HBase Storage Mgmt Common Service
HBase Storage Mgmt Web Service
HCS Device Manager Web Service
DeviceManagerServer
HP StorageWorks XP Tiered Storage Manager
5. Use the cluster management application to enable failover of the resource group.
Change the settings of the resources listed below.
HBase Storage Mgmt Common Service
HBase Storage Mgmt Web Service
HCS Device Manager Web Service (if you are performing an upgrade or overwrite installation
from version 7.0 or later)
DeviceManagerServer
HP StorageWorks XP Tiered Storage Manager
HiRDB/ClusterService _HD0
Resources of P9000 Command View AE Suite products other than the above products
If Microsoft Cluster Service is used:
Right-click the resource name, and choose Properties, the Advanced tab, and then Restart.
If Microsoft Failover Cluster is used:
Right-click the resource name, and choose Properties, the Policies tab, then If resource fails,
attempt restart on current node and If restart is unsuccessful, fail over all resources in this
service or application.
6. In the resource group in which the P9000 Command View AE Suite product services have been
registered, also register HCS Device Manager Web Service.
You must register this resource if you upgraded from a version of P9000 Command View AE
Suite earlier than 7.0. For details, see Table 62 or Table 68.
7. In the cluster management application, bring online the resource group in which the P9000
Command View AE Suite product services are registered.
Changing the management server environment from a non-cluster environment
to a cluster environment
Follow the procedure below to change the operating environment of a Device Manager, Tiered
Storage Manager, or Replication Manager system from a non-cluster configuration to a cluster
configuration after operation has started. For this procedure, the Device Manager, Tiered Storage
Manager, or Replication Manager server operating in a non-cluster configuration is used for the
executing node in the cluster.
To change the management server environment to a cluster configuration:
1. Install P9000 Command View AE Suite on the computer to be used as the standby node.
