Setting the memory heap size of Common Component
Use the hcmdschgheap command to set the memory heap size for Common Component. Set a size
that is appropriate for the OS of the management server, the number of LDEVs to be managed, and
the number of copy pairs to be managed.
Information to collect in advance
Number of LDEVs and number of managed copy pairs to be managed
Determine the required memory heap size from the number of LDEVs and from the number of copy
pairs assumed for operation of Device Manager, Tiered Storage Manager, and Replication
Manager. Set the larger of the values determined as the memory heap size.
