NOTE:
If a virtualization server is managed by Device Manager, do not make the virtual machines running
on that virtualization server management targets of Device Manager, except when NPIV HBA is
used in the configuration.
In the following cases, you must reregister vMA in Device Manager (unregistration before
reregistration is not necessary):
When vMA information such as the IP address and user account is changed
When virtualization servers managed by VMware vCenter Server are added or removed
If you change which instance of VMware vCenter Server manages virtualization servers, you must
perform the following operations from Device Manager:
1. Change the communication parameter setting for the virtualization server to the information of
the instance of vMA that monitors the instance of VMware vCenter Server that now manages the
virtualization server.
2. Update (refresh) the virtualization server information.
