11 Refreshing management information
Replication Manager management information (configuration information and copy pair status
information) can be manually refreshed at any time or automatically refreshed at preset refresh intervals.
This chapter describes ways to refresh configuration information and copy pair status information.
About refreshing management information
To maintain Web client operability, Replication Manager has its own database for storing information
about managed resources. However, to view the latest information from Web client, storage system
information acquired using Device Manager, HP StorageWorks P9000 for Business Continuity Manager
Software, or P9000 mainframe agent must be applied to the Replication Manager database.
Replication Manager database information can be refreshed manually at any time in a subwindow,
or it can be refreshed automatically at a preset refresh interval (refresh setting).
The following explains the types of management information that can be refreshed.
