9. See the volume information of the tasks indicated in the message KATS50354-E and check
whether those tasks are completed.
Check for completion of not only migration tasks but also shredding tasks and locking tasks.
10. If a Tiered Storage Manager task is not completed, create and execute the task again as necessary.
Restoring a database in a cluster configuration
To restore a databases when management servers are clustered, perform the procedure below.
CAUTION:
• Use the executing node (a machine that has online set for mode in the cluster.conf file)
to restore databases.
• In the cluster management application, specify the name registered when you specified the cluster
resource settings for the resource name.
1. Log on to the management server as a user with Administrator permissions.
2. Use the cluster management application to take the following services offline:
• HP StorageWorks XP Tiered Storage Manager
• DeviceManagerServer
• HCS Device Manager Web Service
• HBase Storage Mgmt Web Service
• HBase Storage Mgmt Common Service
• P9000 Command View AE Suite product resources other than the above
For Microsoft Cluster Service
Using the Cluster Administrator, right-click the above resources from the group in which the
P9000 Command View AE Suite product services have been registered, and select Take
Offline:
For Microsoft Failover Cluster
Using the Failover Cluster Management, right-click the above resources from the group in
which the P9000 Command View AE Suite product services have been registered, and select
Take this service or application offline:
3. Stop the P9000 Command View AE Suite product services.
