HP StorageWorks P9000 Command View Advanced Edition Suite Software 7.1.1 Administrator Guide (web) (TB581-96065, September 2011)

logger.serverTraceFileCount
Specify the number of trace log files used by the Tiered Storage Manager server. The range of
specifiable values is from 2 to 16.
The log files are produced in accordance with the size specified by the
logger.serverTraceMaxFileSize property, and are assigned names with a log number
appended (for example, HTSMServerTrace1.log and HTSMServerTrace2.log). The log files
are used and written to in the order of the log numbers. A round robin method is applied, meaning
that, after the end of the last file has been reached, the first file is overwritten.
After the Tiered Storage Manager server starts, writing continues to the file to which the last log data
was written, regardless of whether the server stopped normally last time.
Default: 10
logger.guiMessageFileCount
Specify the number of message log files used by the GUI. The range of specifiable values is from 2
to 16.
The log files are produced in accordance with the size specified by the
logger.guiMessageMaxFileSize property, and are assigned names with a log number appended
(for example, HTSMGuiMessage1.log and HTSMGuiMessage2.log). The log files are used and
written to in the order of the log numbers. A round robin method is applied, meaning that, after the
end of the last file has been reached, the first file is overwritten.
After the Tiered Storage Manager server starts, writing continues to the file to which the last log data
was written, regardless of whether the server stopped normally last time.
Default: 10
CAUTION:
If you have changed the property value, restart the services of P9000 Command View AE Suite
products to enable the new value.
