3. When Veritas Cluster Server is used, execute the drmclusinit command to register cluster
resource information.

Creation in a cascade configuration for Exchange database backup
To back up an Exchange database in a cascade configuration, you must create dictionary map files
in an arbitrary directory at both the local and remote sites.
Perform the following procedure to create the dictionary map files.
To create dictionary map files in an arbitrary directory:
1. Change the locations of the dictionary map files and the backup catalog at both the local and
remote sites.
In the Application Agent configuration definition file (init.com), add
DRM_DB_PATH=any-directory-name;Exchange-virtual-server-name. When editing the file, note
the following points:
Add the entry to the last line of the init.conf file.
Always enter a linefeed code following any-directory-name;Exchange-virtual-server-name.
Specify the same value for any-directory-name;Exchange-virtual-server-name at both the local
and remote sites.
Specify a disk other than the one that is to be backed up. Do not specify a disk configured
as part of a pair volume that is to be backed up.
For the local and remote sites, specify a different disk for storing dictionary map files.
Make sure that the disks that store dictionary map files are accessible regardless of whether
the virtual server is online or offline.
Specify a directory name by using an absolute path.
The following line shows a specification example:
DRM_DB_PATH=H:\PTM;VHOST
2. Create dictionary map files and a catalog file at both the local and remote sites.
Execute the drmdbsetup utility as follows:
PROMPT> Application-Agent-installation-folder\bin\util\drmdbsetup -i
Once the dictionary map files and catalog files have been created, the following message is
displayed:
All data files were created.
