If restoring multiple storage groups together:
If not using VSS:
It is possible to define consistency groups to make files of the same file types of multiple storage
groups that are always restored together are in a same consistency group. However, if rolling
forward is not performed when restore and recovery operations are performed, it is possible
to define consistency groups to make all files of the storage groups that are always restored
together are in a same consistency group.
If using VSS:
Define consistency groups to make files of each file type of each storage group in a separate
consistency group. However, if rolling forward is not performed when restore and recovery
operations are performed, it is possible to define consistency groups to make all files of each
storage group are in a same consistency group.
• Define consistency groups to make each consistency group correspond to one RAID Manager
configuration definition file group (dev_group) so that the same copy groups are in each con-
sistency group and RAID Manager configuration definition file.

RAID Manager groups.
