2. Click the WWN tab (Figure 4 on page 21).

In the upper-left tree, select the old HBA ( ) from below Monitor and then right-click the selection.
4. From the pop-up menu, select Change WWN and Performance Control Name.
The Change WWN and Performance Control Name window is displayed (Figure 14 on page 45).
5. Enter the WWN of the new HBA in the WWN combo box.
You can select the WWN of the newly connected HBA in the WWN combo box. If you are using
Windows, you can drag the WWN of the new HBA displayed below Non-Monitor and drop it
under Monitor.
6. If necessary, enter a new Performance Control name in the Performance Control Name box.
7. Select OK to close the Change WWN and Performance Control Name window.
8. In the Performance Control window, click Apply.
The settings in the window are applied to the storage system.
Grouping HBAs
XP Performance Control allows you to create a Performance Control group to contain multiple HBAs.
All the HBAs in one Performance Control group must be of the same priority. Prioritized WWNs (that
is, high-priority HBAs) and non-prioritized WWNs (that is, low-priority HBAs) cannot be mixed in the
same group.
You can use a Performance Control group to switch priority of multiple HBAs from prioritized to
non-prioritized, or vice versa. You can also use a Performance Control group to set the same upper-limit
value to all the HBAs in the group.
This section describes the operations that can be performed with Performance Control groups.

A HBA can be contained in only one Performance Control group. To create a Performance Control
group and include multiple HBAs in the group, take the following steps:

1. Start XP Performance Control (see “Starting Performance Control” on page 34).
The Performance Control window is displayed.
2. Click the WWN tab (Figure 4 on page 21).
3. In the lower-left tree, select and right-click the Subsystem folder.
4. From the pop-up menu, select Add New Performance Control Group.
5. In the Add New Performance Control Group window (Figure 15 on page 47), enter the name of
the Performance Control group and then click OK.
A Performance Control group is created. A Performance Control group icon ( ) is added to the
lower-left tree.
