To add the components that make up HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition to the firewall

exceptions list, execute the hcmds64fwcancel and netsh commands.

To add the components to the firewall exceptions list:

1. Execute the following command to add the HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition Common

Web Service to the exceptions list:

installation-folder-for-HP-XP7-Command-View-Advanced-Edition\Base64\

bin\hcmds64fwcancel

2. Execute the following command to add the other components that make up HP XP7 Command

View Advanced Edition to the exceptions list.

netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name="name-added-to-exceptions-list"

dir=in action=allow program=" path" description="path" enable=yes

3. To enable the settings, restart the HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition product services.
