properly.
5. If the IP address is used in the URLs of HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition products,
change the settings of all HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition products that are installed
on the management server.
6. Depending on the operating environment, review the HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition
product settings.
7. Back up the database.
If you change the IP address, the data that you backed up can no longer be used.

Required operations after changing the IP address or host name of the
management server
If you change the IP address or host name of the management server, you might have to review the
settings for Device Manager, Tiered Storage Manager, and Replication Manager depending on the
operating environment.
When the old host name or IP address is specified for the server.http.host property:
You need to replace the old host name or IP address with the new host name or IP address, and
then restart the services of HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition products.
When the Device Manager agent is used:
You need to execute the hdvmagt_setting command to change the settings for the Device
Manager server information.
When the Replication Manager is used:
If you change the IP address or the host name registered as the information source, re-register the
information source. .
When a RADIUS server is used to authenticate accounts:
Check the settings in the exauth.properties file.
If user accounts are authenticated in HP XP7 Command View Advanced Edition when logging in
to RAID Manager or the SVP
In Device Manager GUI, from the Edit Storage Systems window, re-set user account authentication.
If there are other script files or batch files in which an IP address or a host name is specified, review
the settings.
