Values displayed in the following were larger than the actual values for a volume logical group
that included a LUSE volume:
In the [Resources] tab
[Total Capacity] under [Summary]
In the [Mobility] tab dashboard:
[Total Capacity] under [Summary]
[Used Capacity: Basic] under [Summary]
[Basic Total] under [Drive Type Summary]
[Basic] under [Drive Type Distribution]
The following situations occurred if you specified an XP P9500 storage port in a command and
then executed that command from the Device Manager CLI:
If you specified CLB-M (port number: 117) for the name of a storage system port and then
executed a command that changed the configuration or acquired information, the configuration
was changed or information was acquired for the port CLD-M (port number: 118).
If you specified CLD-M (port number: 118) for the name of a storage system port and then
executed a command that changed the configuration or acquired information, the configuration
was changed or information was acquired for the port CLB-M (port number: 117).
The following symptoms occurred in the list of host volumes:
Operation A: You displayed the list of volumes.
Symptom A: LUSE volume information incorrectly appeared as follows:
The displayed number of No. of Paths was more than the actual number.
Information about a non-representative LDEV that made up the LUSE volume sometimes
appeared.
Hyphens (-) sometimes appeared when they should not.
Operation B: You selected a LUSE volume, and then opened the Allocate Like Volumes dialog
box.
Symptom B: The following error occurred, and the operation did not succeed:
Message ID: KAIC15592-E
Message: The "Allocate Like Volumes" operation cannot be performed because the referenced
volume (LDEV-ID) is not allocated to any hosts. Select a volume allocated to hosts.
NOTE: The LDEV ID of a non-representative LDEV that makes up the LUSE volume appears
for LDEV-ID in the message.
Operation C: You selected a LUSE volume, and then opened the Unallocate Volumes dialog box.
Symptom C: The following error occurred, and the operation did not succeed:
Message ID: KAIC15179-E
Message: Unable to unallocate volumes.The volume may have been unallocated or used by
another task or you do not have Modify permission for host groups.Close the Resource window
and verify the volume status.
Operation D: You selected a LUSE volume, and then opened the Edit LUN Paths dialog box.
