The following four types of HTTP communication routes are also used:
• Between Replication Manager (on the management server) and a Device Manager Agent (on a
pair management server)
• Between Replication Manager (on the management server) and a Business Continuity Manager
Software (on the host) unless IHS is used.
• Between Replication Manager (on the management server) and P9000 mainframe agent (on the
host).
• Between Replication Manager (on the management server) and Application Agent (on the database
server or backup server).

To encrypt communications between HP StorageWorks P9000 Command View Advanced Edition
Suite Common Component on the management server and the Web browser on the management
client, you must create a server certificate for Common Component on the management server and
import it into the Web browser on the management client.
