Creating and allocating volumes
The following items cannot be filtered in the Select Thin Provisioning Pool dialog box:
Used Capacity
Subscription
The Allocate Volumes and Unallocate Volumes dialog boxes
If a WWN of a host side is changed by another browser when the Allocate Volumes dialog box is
starting, an internal error might occur as the operation on the dialog is continued. In this case,
restart the browser.
The WWN might be changed by another browser when nothing is displayed in the Plan Summary of
the Unallocate Volumes dialog box. In this case, restart the dialog box.
Allocate volumes
The task registration operation might not be continued when characters ('\', '/', ':', ',', ';', '*', '?', '"', '<',
'>', '|', ''', ), which cannot be used for the host group name, are used for the host group name
displayed by default in the Allocate Volumes dialog box.
Correct the host group name displayed by default to appropriate valid name.
In addition, Allocate Volume dialog box might finish successfully even if the host is deleted from
another browser if two or more hosts are selected, and the plan of the Allocate volumes is confirmed.
In this case, select the volume that was allocated incorrectly, and unallocate the volume.
The sorting and filtering by using number of path in the volume list
The No. of Paths column can not be used for sorting and filtering the volumes table. To find out
volumes based on No. of Paths, use the WWN column instead for sorting and filtering.
Created volumes capacity
When you allocate volumes or create volumes specifying the capacity below the decimal point, the
volumes might not be created with the specified capacity.
In this case, delete the created volumes, and allocate volumes or create volumes again by
specifying the Block.
