When checking the contents of an operation definition file, the extended command first checks whether
the file specified by the argument exists, and then checks all items in the operation definition file for
the following:
An item and corresponding value have been specified.
The specified item appears only once.
The number of characters does not exceed the maximum allowable for the item.
In addition, the command checks the contents in the operation definition file for the items listed in the
following table.
