Description
Use the ExportDB command to export data, for charting or graphing, and including the Ext-LUN
information to a data visualization program, such as Microsoft Excel. The output of the ExportDB
command for the dkc performance data contains the maximum configuration of an XP12000 array,
even though the XP10000 array has a maximum of 4 CHIPs and 2 ACPs. This is because there are
16 CHIPs and 8 ACPs columns. However, if the column is not applicable for XP10000, it displays
the text "Invalid" as a column heading. For mix Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), the column displays
the label "Invalid Mp" as a column heading for MPs 4 to 7.
IMPORTANT:
• If you export data for a P9000 disk array, you can also view the average utilization percentage
of an MP blade and the LDEV that is currently assigned to the MP blade. The average percentage
of utilization is calculated as the utilization of all the individual processors in the MP blade. The
file also includes the following details:
• The MP blade IDs, the cluster # and the blade locations for the MP blades.
• The processors on an MP blade and their utilization percentage for the selected duration.
• The processing types and the respective MP busy time.
The MP busy time indicates the time taken by an MP blade to process the request it receives
from the associated processing type.
• The export DB file for LDEV displays an additional Current MP column. This column displays the
current MP blade for each LDEV record. The MP blade ID includes the cluster # and the blade
location for the MP blade.
• P9000 Performance Advisor supports multiple data collection. For the exportdb command to
be successful, ensure that the RAID Groups are part of a single schedule only.
