Management station prerequisites

This section describes the prerequisites that you must complete for installing HP XP P9000

Performance Advisor on a management station.

After you complete the prerequisites, start the HP XP P9000 Performance Advisor installation. For

Hardware

Your management station must meet the following hardware requirements:

• DVD drive

• Intel Pentium or AMD Athlon based systems - 3.0 GHz CPU (minimum) or later for complex

configuration and multiple disk arrays

For multi-core processor based systems - 2.0 GHz CPU or later

• 2 GB RAM (minimum), 4 GB RAM for complex configuration, and multiple XP and P9000

disk arrays

• For information on the recommended free space, see Table 5 (page 49).
