1. Enter the required HP XP P9000 Performance Advisor User Search and Filter Settings and HP
XP P9000 Performance Advisor Group Settings. “LDAP server User Search and Filter, and
Group settings (page 56) provides the description for the HP XP P9000 Performance Advisor
User Search and Filter Settings and HP XP P9000 Performance Advisor Group Settings fields.

Base DN in the LDAP Directory Information Tree (DIT)
for all users. This is path in the LDAP directory where
all user accounts are located.
User Base DN box
The LDAP filter to be used when searching for user
entries in the LDAP directory. A default filter is supplied
User Search Filter box
by HP XP P9000 Performance Advisor, depending on
the LDAP server type (your system administrator can
change this filter as necessary):
Default filter for Active Directory:
(&(|(sAMAccountName={USERNAME})(cn={
USERNAME}))(objectClass=user))
Default filter for OpenLDAP:
(&(|(uid={USERNAME})(cn={USERNAME}))(o
bjectClass={Username}
{Username} is the placeholder, that will be replaced
with the HP XP P9000 Performance Advisor user’s
name whose account should be authenticated and
authorized.
Base DN in the LDAP DIT for all the groups. This is the
path in the LDAP directory where all groups are located.

Distinguished names of the HP XP P9000 Performance
Advisor Administrators in the LDAP directory.
