logical device file
A device file in the /dev directory.
Note that the term logical device here is different from LDEV.
LU (Logical Unit)
A logical unit that is a logical volume defined in the storage system, and with which the
host can perform input or output operations.

A server in a cluster.
non-owner controller
A controller other than an owner controller.
Non-owner controllers exist only in the Thunder 9500V series, or Hitachi AMS/WMS
series.

non-owner path
A path that passes through a non-owner controller.
Non-owner paths exist only in the Thunder 9500V series, or Hitachi AMS/WMS series.

owner controller
A controller that has been set as an owner controller for an LU. Owner controllers are
only in the Thunder 9500V series, or Hitachi AMS/WMS series. A controller other than
an owner controller is called a non-owner controller.
When using Lightning 9900V series, Hitachi USP series, Universal Storage Platform
V/VM series, Virtual Storage Platform series, VSP G1000 series, Hitachi AMS2000 series,
Hitachi SMS series, HUS100 series, or HUS VM, all controllers are owner controllers.
