ModifyVirtualVolume
For XP24000/XP20000, ModifyVirtualVolume assigns and releases assignations between
volumes for Thin Provisioning Software (virtual volumes) and pools for Thin Provisioning Software,
and changes the usage threshold rate of volumes for Thin Provisioning Software. For P9500, this
command expands a THP volume, and changes the tiering policy for volumes for Smart Tiers (virtual
volumes).
NOTE:
This command can be used only with P9500 and XP24000/XP20000.
Microcode version 70-02-50-00/00 or later is required when changing the tiering policy in P9500.
For XP24000/XP20000, the following conditions must be satisfied when specifying a volume for Thin
Provisioning Software:
