NOTE: A source volume exchanges the role with a target volume by the Auto LUN operation.
However, the access attribute of the source volume and the target volume does not exchange.
Depending on the status of the Auto LUN plan, you may not be able to set the access attribute with
Data Retention to the source volume or the target volume of Auto LUN. For information about
whether or not you can set the access attribute to the Auto LUN pair, see Table 11 (page 17).

You can set only Read/Write as the access attribute to the reserved volume of Auto LUN. You
cannot set the Read Only, Protect, and S-VOL Disable attributes.
Volumes having access attribute of Volume Retention
You can select a volume setting an access attribute by using Volume Retention as a source volume.
However, depending on the access attribute of the target volume, you may not be able to perform
the Auto LUN operations. For the information about whether or not you can perform the volume
migration operation to the volume having the access attribute of Volume Retention, see
Table 12 (page 17).
