In either of the above cases, Replication Manager cannot be used to edit the disk configuration
definition files that were created by HP StorageWorks P9000 for Business Continuity Manager 6.6.1.
Instead, you must use HP StorageWorks P9000 for Business Continuity Manager 6.7 or later to edit
the disk configuration definition files and then perform volume scan or distribution with Replication
Manager).
Supported storage systems
Replication Manager supports all storage systems supported by Device Manager server:
• XP512/XP48
• XP1024/XP128
• XP12000/XP10000/SVS200
• XP24000/XP20000
• P9500

TIP:
For best results, ensure that you have the latest version of the storage system microcode as well as
the latest version of P9000 RAID Manager installed.
NOTE:
Before using copy groups defined in storage, ensure that the microcode version of the P9500 system
is 70-02-00-XX/XX or later.
Firewall exceptions
If a firewall is present, the port number for transmissions to and from Replication Manager must be
registered as an exception. The tables that follow describe the port numbers associated with each
