NOTE:

Replication Manager identifies the database application running on each host according to the version

of the Application Agent installed (Exchange or SQL Server). Therefore, do not install a version of

Application Agent on a host that does not have the corresponding database application installed.

If an inappropriate version of Application Agent is installed on a server, Replication Manager will

fail to collect information during Refresh Host processing and display an error message.

the manual for the version you are using.)

NOTE:

You must perform a clean installation to upgrade a Host OS. If you perform an upgrade installation,

you may have problems with Application Agent operation.
