Version: 6.06.00 Description This package contains the HP StorageWorks P6000 Hardware Providers software for Windows. In this document, Enterprise Virtual Array is abbreviated to EVA. The hardware providers software works with the Microsoft Virtual Disk Service (VDS) and Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS) to enable Windows applications to manage HP StorageWorks P6000 storage systems and create shadow copies of HP P6000 storage system volumes. Update recommendation: Recommended Supersedes: 6.05.

For Windows Server 2008 R2, you must manually remove the previous version (v6.04.00) of the hardware provider software before installing the latest version. There are three installers for the hardware providers: • HP_StorageWorks_VDS_VSS_Hardware_Provider_P6000_v6_06_00_x86.exe NOTE: The x86 installer is applicable only to Windows Server 2008, but the x64 and ia64 installers are applicable to both Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2. • HP_StorageWorks_VDS_VSS_Hardware_Provider_P6000_v6_06_00_x64.
