Portal Information
There can be one or more portals for each iSCSI Instance. The following information will be
displayed in a separate section for each portal.
Status displays the current portal status.
Role displays the operational role or roles of the portal. The following values are valid:
Initiator - The portal is operating as an initiator.
Target - The portal is operating as a target.
Target/Initiator - The portal is operating as an initiator and a target.
Protocol displays the transport protocol of the portal. The following values are defined:
Internet Control Message
Internet Group Management
Gateway-to-Gateway
IP in IP (encapsulation)
Stream
Transmission Control
Address Type displays the type of Internet Protocol address. The following values are valid:
IPv4 - The address is an IP version 4 address.
IPv6 - The address is an IP version 6 address.
IPv4z - The address is an IP version 4 address with a zone index.
IPv6z - The address is an IP version 6 address with a zone index.
DNS - The address is a DNS domain name.
Unknown - The address is empty or the address type is unknown.
Address displays the portal IP address.
Portal Tag displays the portal aggregation tag value.
Session Information
The information displayed for each iSCSI Session entry in the submenu includes session information,
session statistics, and the associated connections.
Session Information
Initiator Name displays the full name of the initiator.
Target Name displays the full name of the target.
Initiator Alias displays the alias name of the initiator. If no alias name has been defined for
the initiator, this field will be blank.
Target Alias displays the alias name of the target. If no alias name has been defined for the
target, this field will be blank.
Direction displays the direction of this session. The following values are valid:
Inbound - session is established from an external initiator to a target within this iSCSI
instance.
Outbound - session is established from an initiator within this iSCSI instance to an external
target.
Target Handle displays the target-defined identification handle for this session.
