Associated iSCSI Connections
There will be a connection link that is associated to the displayed session.
Connect Information
The information displayed for each iSCSI connection entry in the submenu includes connect
information.
Connection Information
• Connection State displays the current state of this connection, from an iSCSI negotiation point
of view. The following values are valid:
◦ Login - indicates the transport protocol connection has been established, but a valid iSCSI
login response with the final bit set has not been sent or received.
◦ Full - indicates a valid iSCSI login response with the final bit set has been sent or received.
◦ Logout - indicates a valid iSCSI logout command has been sent or received, but the
transport protocol connection has not yet been closed..
• Connection ID displays the iSCSI Connection ID for this connection.
• Protocol displays the transport protocol over which this connection is running. The following
values are valid:
◦ IPv4 - The address is an IP version 4 address.
◦ IPv6 - The address is an IP version 6 address.
◦ IPv4z - The address is an IP version 4 address with a zone index.
◦ IPv6z - The address is an IP version 6 address with a zone index.
◦ DNS - The address is a DNS domain name.
◦ Unknown - The address is empty or the address type is unknown.
• iSCSI Version displays the active version number of the iSCSI specification negotiated on this
connection.
• Local Address Type displays the local Internet Network Address used by this connection.
• Remote Address displays the remote Internet Network Address used by this connection.
• Local Port displays the local transport protocol port used by this connection.
• Remort Port displays the remote transport protocol port used by this connection.
• Maximim Receive Data displays the maximum data payload size supported for command or
data PDUs able to be received on this connection.
• Maximum Send Data displays the maximum data payload size supported for command or
data PDUs to be sent on this connection.
• Receive Marker displays whether or not this connection is receiving markers in in its incoming
data stream.
• Send Marker displays whether or not this connection is inserting markers in in its outgoing
data stream.
• Header Integrity displays the iSCSI header digest scheme in use within this connection. The
following values are valid:
◦ none
◦ other
