Approximate installation and upgrade times
Table 1 lists approximate installation and upgrade times for individual Insight Management products
on x86 and x64 operating systems. The times were obtained from a CMS with the following
configuration:
• Server: HP ProLiant BL460c G6 BladeSystem server
• Memory: 16 GB
• Operating system: Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 Enterprise x64, Microsoft Windows
Server 2003 Standard R2 SP2 x86, and Microsoft Windows Server 2012 Standard x64
Installation and upgrade times for individual Insight Management products have been rounded to
the nearest minute. Your times may vary depending on the server model, amount of memory, and
type of OS (x86 or x64). Running a virus scanner during the installation may also increase the
installation time.
