SST/OB Grid Features
Selecting Columns to Display: Select/deselect the columns to display using the Select Visible Columns icon
This topic provides information on the common SST/OB Client Application View functions.

Sort Ascending: Use this option to sort the values/data given in the list based on the data in the selected column,
in ascending order.
Sort Descending: Use this option to sort the values/data given in the list based on the data in the selected
column, in descending order.
Clear Sorting: Use this option to display the data in the order it was retrieved from the database.
Group by This Field: Use this option to group data based on the selected column. For example, if we choose
group by column ‘City’ this option will group all the data of the same City.
Group By Box: Use this option to toggle the display of the Group By Box. You can drag-and-drop fields on a
Group By Box to group the data on the basis of that field.
Footer: Use this option to toggle the display of the footer at the bottom of the list. The footer displays a
mathematical result for the data in a field, for example, the number of items in the list or the maximum value of
an item in the list.
Group Footer: Use this option to toggle the display of the group footer. The Group footer is similar to footer,
except that the group footer is displayed at the end of each grouped column. The group footer is visible only
when columns are grouped.
Remove This Column: Use this option to remove the selected column from being displayed in the list.
Field Chooser: Use this option to select columns to be displayed.
Alignment: Use this option to align the data in any of the following formats.
• Align Left
• Align Right
• Align Center
Best Fit: Use this option to arrange the data displayed in the selected column in the best view possible for better
viewing. It widens all columns such that the data in the columns does not truncate.
Best Fit (all columns): Use this option to arrange the data displayed in all the columns in the best view possible
for better viewing. It widens all columns such that the data in the columns does not truncate.
