k. On the Manage Storage Pool screen, monitor the Status column for the storage pool
entry. (You may have to refresh the page by pressing Get/Refresh Storage Pool
Entries.)
l. When the value in the Status column is Presentation Completed, press the Modify
button on the Manage Storage Pool screen to display this screen.
m. Select a Storage Port WWN from the drop-down menu and press Save.
2. For SAN Catalog Storage Entry:
a. Click the Add Volume button on the right side of the screen to add a row to the Volume
& Path Selection table.
b. Optional: Check the Redundancy checkbox next to a specific volume to implement
redundancy for that volume.
c. Check the Masked checkbox if you want the volume to be presented to the server WWN
during boot. If this checkbox is unchecked, the volume is a data disk that hidden from
the server WWN during boot.
d. Enter the Size in GB for the storage volume. (Size is typically 10-30 GB.)
e. Select a RAID Level for the storage volume.
f. If it is not selected, select the volume using the radio button selector preceding the
storage volume.
g. Press Show Candidates. The storage volumes you previously imported using HP
Storage Provisioning Manager that match the selected configuration (size and RAID)
are displayed in the Candidates drop-down menu.
h. Select a value from the Candidates drop-down menu.
i. Optional: In the Manage Server WWNs, change the Server WWN by typing in the text
box. This is useful if the SAN is prezoned.
j. Press Save.
k. On the Manage Storage Pool screen, monitor the Status column for the storage pool

automatically.
