i. Press Save.
j. On the Manage Storage Pool screen, monitor the Status column for the storage pool
entry. (You may have to refresh the page by pressing Get/Refresh Storage Pool
Entries.)
Use the radio button selector preceding the storage volume and the Remove Volume button to
remove entries from the table.
IMPORTANT: For SAN Catalog Storage Entries and SAN Pre-populated Catalog Storage
Entries, the Remove Volume action returns the storage volume to the storage catalog as an
available resource. Unmask catalog-based storage volumes before removing the storage volumes.
For non-boot volumes, uncheck the Masked checkbox. For boot volumes, use HP Storage
Provisioning Manager to change the presentation state of the storage volume.

Validation status
After you have specified your storage pool entry, you can optionally confirm that the server
WWN has been associated with the storage port WWN and LUN by pressing the Validate button.
Validation on this screen is not available for SAN Catalog Storage Entries and SAN
Pre-populated Catalog Storage Entries. Catalog-based storage is validated when presentation
is complete.

Manage server WWNs
The Manage Server WWNs table allows you to manage the server WWNs for the storage pool
entry.
The Status column displays the presentation status of the storage pool entry.
Press Get/Refresh Pool Entries to see updated status. The values that can be displayed in the
Status column are:
Presentation Initiated
Presentation Pending
Presentation Completed
Presentation Completed with Errors
Inoperable (can be displayed with any other status)
