Roles and workflow
Tasks in SPM can be logically broken out into two categories:
Administrative tasks—by default, SPM defines three different roles to handle the administrative
tasks: storage administrator, storage architect and storage operator. People who fulfill these roles
are responsible for setting up and managing the storage resources in the SPM catalog, defining
provisioning policy, and configuring security.
Consumer tasks—SPM defines by default a single consumer role whose primary task is to request
storage from SPM.
