Implementation Differences
The implementation of bootpd on the HP 3000 differs from bootpd on
the HP 9000 in following ways:
The BOOTP entry in the inetd configuration file must have an
MPE/iX compatible user name. Hewlett-Packard recommends that
you use MANAGER.SYS.
You cannot run bootpd as a standalone server. It can only be run by
the Internet daemon.
