SDDBD ERROR MESSAGES (2601–2821)
2601 MESSAGE: Unknown SDDBD command (SDERR 2601)
CAUSE: The user has given SDDBD an unrecognizable command.
ACTION: The user should give a command that SDDBD recognizes; these commands are
listed in the manual, and can also be obtained by entering the HELP command.
2603 MESSAGE: Expecting 'Y' or 'N' answer (SDERR 2603)
CAUSE: The user entered a response other than Y or N to the prompt.
ACTION: Enter Y or N.
2604 MESSAGE: Illegal response to option prompt (SDERR 2604)
CAUSE: The user did not enter a valid response to the prompt.
ACTION: The valid responses are S for Skip, R for Replace, T for Terminate, and N for new
name.
2605 MESSAGE: Command ending period is missing (SDERR 2605)
CAUSE: A period is needed to terminate a multi-line command.
ACTION: Use REDO to add a period, or reenter the command with a period at the end.
2606 MESSAGE: Expecting equal sign (SDERR 2606)
CAUSE: The user left out an = character from the command.
ACTION: Use the REDO command to put an = character into the command or reenter the
command with an = in the proper place.
2607 MESSAGE: Parameter separating semi-colon missing (SDERR 2607)
CAUSE: A ; character is needed to separate the parameter clauses.
ACTION: Use the REDO command to put a ; character into the command or reenter the
command with a ; in the proper place.
2608 MESSAGE: Superfluous parameters found after command ending period
(SDERR 2608)
CAUSE: Characters were found after the period terminating the command.
ACTION: Use the REDO command to delete the characters after the end of the command,
or reenter the command without the characters after the period character.
2609 MESSAGE: Command does not take any argument (SDERR 2609)
CAUSE: No parameters are needed with the command.
ACTION: Use the REDO command to delete the parameter clause, or reenter the command
without the parameter clause.
