SDDBD Error Messages
SDDBD ERROR MESSAGES (2601–2821)
2635 MESSAGE: Illegal sensitivity value (SDERR 2635)
CAUSE: The value supplied for the sensitivity PARAMETER is not valid.
ACTION: The valid values are READ, MODIFY or PRIVATE.
2636 MESSAGE: Illegal option specification (SDERR 2636)
CAUSE: The value supplied for the OPTION parameter is not valid.
ACTION: The valid values are PROMPT, SKIP REPLACE, NEW or TERMINATE.
2637 MESSAGE: Illegal compatibility-level value (SDERR 2637)
CAUSE: The COMPATIBILITY-LEVEL parameter of the IMAGE command is assigned an
illegal value.
ACTION: Issue the REDO command to replace the COMPATIBILITY-LEVEL parameter
value to either IMAGE-COMPATIBILITY or COMPLETE.
2701 MESSAGE: Could not close the dictionary (SDERR 2701)
CAUSE: The dictionary could not be closed.
ACTION: Notify the Dictionary Administrator.
2702 MESSAGE: Could not open the dictionary (SDERR 2702)
CAUSE: The dictionary could not be opened.
ACTION: If some other user was accessing the dictionary exclusively, wait until he changes
the open mode. If a serious system error is suspected, notify the System Manager and
Dictionary Administrator.
2703 MESSAGE: No dictionary open (SDERR 2703)
CAUSE: No dictionary has been specified to load the definitions into.
ACTION: Specify a dictionary using the DEFINE command.
2704 MESSAGE: Could not open the dictionary because of invalid scope password
(SDERR 2704)
CAUSE: The scope password supplied in the DEFINE command is incorrect.
ACTION: If the password is being prompted, give the correct password at the prompt.
Otherwise, use REDO to insert the correct password into the command or reenter the
whole command.
2710 MESSAGE: Could not close the database (SDERR 2710)
CAUSE: The IMAGE database could not be closed.
ACTION: Notify the System Manager.
2711 MESSAGE: Could not open the database (SDERR 2711)
CAUSE: The IMAGE database could not be opened.
ACTION: If your database open mode is incompatible with that of other users, attempt to
open the database in a compatible mode. If a system error is suspected, notify the System
Manager.
