Point-to-Point (Router) Network Interface Conﬁguration Screens

Protocol Conﬁguration

The Protocol Conﬁguration screen (#113) in Figure 6-4 is displayed

when you press the

[Go To PROTOCOL] function key at the Point-to-Point

Network Interface Conﬁguration screen (Figure 6-3). It is also

displayed when you type the path name:

@NETXPORT.NI.

NIname

.PROTOCOL

in the Command window of any screen and press the

[Enter] key, where

NIname is a conﬁgured point-to-point (router) NI name.

For a point-to-point NI, you must conﬁgure the IP protocol. The Dial

protocol must be conﬁgured if you have switched lines.

Choose the protocol to conﬁgure and press the corresponding function

key.
