Parameters

attribute-name Name of the attribute to be displayed.

attribute-data-type Type of the attribute to be displayed. Valid datatypes are:

alias

boolean

character

ﬂoating

integer

variable

attribute-length Length of the attribute to be displayed.

scope-owner-name Owner of the attribute to be displayed. If the current scope does not have secure capa-

bility, any qualification other than the current scope causes no attributes to be re-

trieved.

NAME-ONLY If specified, only the nameofthe qualifying attribute is displayed. If not specified, the

name, owner, type, length, and edit values are displayed.

NOSORT Reports on the attributes in the unsorted order in which they are retrieved from the

dictionary. Otherwise, theattributesare sorted alphabetically by the attribute names.

Description

When sorting is not required, the use of the NOSORT keyword speeds processing time. If the scope does

not have secure capability, and the current scope is not the owner, the scope owner is not displayed.

The following example displays all attributes with data type character.
